Bharat and Shri Ram Short Story
Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Ayodhya, there lived two brothers, Bharat and Shri Ram. They were King Dashratha's sons. Shri Ram was the eldest and next in line to the throne, but the promise of Bharat's mother prevented him from taking the throne. As a result, Bharat, the younger son, was crowned as the king of Ayodhya.
Bharat was filled with guilt and remorse for his elder brother. He knew that Shri Ram deserved to be king, but he had to bear the burden of ruling the kingdom while Shri Ram remained in exile. Bharat longed for the opportunity to meet Shri Ram and experience all the problems he must have faced during his exile. He believed that by going through the same hardships, he could understand his brother's pain and finally remorse his mothers decision.
One day, Bharat decided to embark on a journey to meet Shri Ram. He was determined to face all the challenges on his journey, just as Shri Ram must have done. However, Shri Ram, being aware of his brother's desire to join him and experience his hardships, requested the Goddess of Jungle (Vandevi) to create a pathway for Bharat. The Goddess, moved by Shri Ram's request, made the path smooth, free from pebbles and gravel. Bharat, unaware of this divine intervention, continued his journey with ease.
In this short story, we see the bond between Bharat and Shri Ram, as well as the selflessness of Shri Ram. Bharat's remorse and subsequent dedication to his brother remind us of the importance of acknowledging our mistakes and making amends. The intervention of the Goddess of Jungle, creating a smooth path for Bharat, highlights the divine grace that can sometimes soften even the harshest of circumstances.
एक समय की बात है, अयोध्या राज्य में भरत और श्री राम नामक दो भाई रहते थे। वे राजा दशरथ के पुत्र थे। श्री रीम सबसे बड़े थे और राजगद्दी के अगले दावेदार थे, लेकिन भरत की मां के वादे ने उन्हें राजगद्दी संभालने से रोक दिया। परिणामस्वरूप, छोटे पुत्र भरत को अयोध्या के राजा के रूप में ताज पहनाया गया।
भरत अपने बड़े भाई के प्रति ग्लानि और पश्चाताप से भर गये। वह जानता था कि श्री राम राजा बनने के योग्य थे, लेकिन श्री राम के वनवास में रहने के दौरान उन्हें राज्य पर शासन करने का भार उठाना पड़ा। भरत श्री राम से मिलने और वनवास के दौरान उनके सामने आई सभी समस्याओं का अनुभव करने के अवसर की लालसा रखते थे। उनका मानना था कि उन्हीं कठिनाइयों से गुज़रकर, वह अपने भाई के दर्द को समझ सकते हैं और अंततः अपनी माँ के फैसले पर पछतावा कर सकते हैं।
एक दिन, भरत ने श्री राम से मिलने के लिए यात्रा पर निकलने का फैसला किया। वह अपनी यात्रा में सभी चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए दृढ़ थे, जैसा कि श्री राम ने किया होगा। हालाँकि, श्री राम, अपने भाई की उनके साथ जुड़ने और उनकी कठिनाइयों का अनुभव करने की इच्छा से अवगत थे, उन्होंने वन की देवी से भरत के लिए मार्ग बनाने का अनुरोध किया। श्री राम के अनुरोध से प्रभावित होकर देवी ने मार्ग को कंकड़-पत्थर से मुक्त कर सुगम बना दिया। इस दैवीय हस्तक्षेप से अनजान भरत ने आसानी से अपनी यात्रा जारी रखी।
इस लघु कथा में हम भरत और श्री राम के बीच के बंधन के साथ-साथ श्री राम की निस्वार्थता को भी देखते हैं। भरत का पश्चाताप और उसके बाद अपने भाई के प्रति समर्पण हमें अपनी गलतियों को स्वीकार करने और सुधार करने के महत्व की याद दिलाता है। जंगल की देवी का हस्तक्षेप, भरत के लिए एक सुगम मार्ग बनाना, दैवीय कृपा को उजागर करता है जो कभी-कभी सबसे कठोर परिस्थितियों को भी नरम कर सकती है।
