ROLE: TYLER (Male, 15–18 years old)

Confident. Tough. Alpha. Tyler is the guy everyone used to follow without question—the high school rugby star, natural leader, and the kind of teen who never had to try too hard. But when he’s ripped from the safety of school halls and thrown into a deadly survival situation, we see what he’s really made of. Underneath the bravado is someone cracking under pressure, unsure if his instincts are still right, and afraid to lose control.

ROLE: FELIX (Male 15-18 years old)

Quirky. Intelligent. Observant. Felix is the awkward yet endearing school photographer who’d rather document life through a lens than participate in it. He’s the kind of guy who talks too much when he’s nervous, carries multiple spare camera batteries “just in case,” and knows more about aperture settings than social cues.

But when things go wrong in the wild, Felix’s sharp mind and hidden courage make him an unlikely asset. While others panic, he notices details others miss. Behind the nerdy exterior is a quietly resourceful teen with untapped bravery.

SYNOPSIS:

After surviving a plane crash, three teens — Felix, Tyler, and Lily — navigate the rainforest in search of a black box to trigger a rescue. Tyler is injured, and tensions rise as they trek through debris and fading daylight.

But as strange moments mount and Lily suddenly disappears, Felix discovers the truth through his camera footage: Lily never survived the crash.

Altitude is a gripping survival short exploring trauma, memory, and the line between reality and denial.
